– A project run jointly by the Catholic Institute of Education and Project Literacy funded by the Department of Education, enabled us to provide skills training in carpentry, computer literacy baking and food preparation to over 300 people as part of completing their ABET level 4 certificates (Grade 10). Over the year we fed and accommodated these learners. The programme was very popular and most of the graduates managed to find some employment.
See Brother Alexis and Linah Mothapo conducting the 15 day life skills programme that most of the Catholic Institute of Educations member skills centre present. We are very proud to have been part of its development.
